Visions Family Services, Inc. has been offering Mental Retardation and Mental Health services since 2002. We specialize in helping "difficult to place" clients. Our company accepts individuals who are of varying cognitive levels, have chronic mental health issues, and demonstrate challenging behaviors. VFS, Inc. was founded on the philosophy that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, to receive training and treatment that promotes self-management, and to be appreciated for their unique qualities. We are strong advocates for those we serve, believing that those with disabilities have the right to be a functioning part of their community with opportunities, responsibilities, and quality of life as is available to all citizens.

Our goal is to provide a structured, secure setting to teach promoted self management so that our clients can reach the greatest degree of independence possible. VFS, Inc. uses a person centered approach in the provision of services. We are mindful and respectful of an individual's culture and context. Training activities are designed to produce positive outcomes for the individual in their respective environments of choice. The overall goal is to promote inclusion into the individual's community, through social integration, treatment, and participation in community opportunities to achieve as much independence as possible for each individual.
